Description
Hello,
my name is Rebecca, I'm 24 years old and I live in Germany.
After finishing school in 2019, I went to Canada for one year to work and travel and see the world.
I stayed on several different farms where I helped with horses, dogs and other animals. I also spent some time as an au-pair because I love spending time with children.
After returning to Germany, I started my dual studies in social work at DHBW Stuttgart and also started working at a children's home. I will graduate university in September 2024 and would like the chance to go travel some more before continuing my work as a social worker.
I've always been fascinated by nature in the UK, Ireland and Iceland, so I'm planning on travelling to these countries and to explore life there.

I really like working with animals and kids. I grew up in a big family so I'm used to the hustle and bustle but I also like having some time to myself.
I have experience with looking after and working with children and youth of all ages and love to spend time with my nieces and nephew and also the kids in my village. I also got a lot of experience through my work and will be a certified social worker by September 2024.
I've been riding horses for about eight years and although I haven't really been around horses in a few years now, I still enjoy their company whenever I get a chance to.
My family used to grow potatoes, so I'm used to working outside and on the field.
I also have some experience in painting and gardening work.
One of my interests is cooking, I really like trying out new recipes and also enjoy baking cakes, muffins, cookies....
I am hard working, easy to get along with and always up for learning new skills!
Generally, I like being and working outside and enjoying nature.

Rebecca was with us for six weeks and in this time she proved to be an awesome guest. She is a very friendly person with a great sense of humour. Rebecca helped tremendously in our garden, planting, weeding and transplanting shrubs and other plants. Also, she is an amazing baker, especially her Lemon Cake! We will miss her.

I spent about six weeks with Evva and John on their beautiful little farm.
They made me feel very welcome and immediately spoiled me with yummy food and a very nice guest room.
I worked five days a week and had enough time to myself so I could go hiking, read or just relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the river.

Rebecca was awesome to have around. She’s friendly, happy and always smiling.

She did a ton of cooking and baking! We were never short on yummy things to eat. She did a lot of awesome surprises for us.

She’s helpful and always up for an adventure. She’s welcome back any time.
