  • Description

Hi there, I am a young man just looking to gather some life experience and knowledge through travel and work. I want to show that I can make a difference in a community through the skills that I have learned, while also learning new ones where I can. I find happiness through music making; playing bagpipes, piano and whistle; and being able to work outside in a garden or on a farm.

More details about my language interests
Having a German father, I learnt German for 6 years in school and now have an interest in mastering it and one day teaching it to students. I need experience speaking with other people and being able to use it in everyday life outside of just the classroom. I am eager to learn more Spanish. I have had a few lessons but I am still a beginner.

  • More details about your skills

My main passion is music. I play the highland bagpipes, small-pipes, whistles and piano.
Practically, I have done tree work for a couple of years now; attaining my chainsaw license and building experience with machinery such as chippers and strimmers as well as felling and pruning smaller trees and shrubs.
I have grown up on a farm for most of my life. I can work with an array animals such as chickens, horses or cattle. Working manually and outside is what I am used to.
I am a bagpipes teacher at a pipe band and I also volunteer at an organisation (SC&T Youth) that teaches traditional Scottish folk music to children, so I have experience teaching music to individuals as well as large groups.
I have 2 little sisters, so have experience babysitting and looking after
    young ones.
