Description
Hi we are Rachael and Oliver and we have come to Canada for an adventure. We are a friendly English couple who have been together for 4 and a half years. We spent one of those years living together in Peschiera Del Garda, Italy, working on a large campsite. We are able to work very well together but are also happy to be given seperate tasks to do.
We are hard-working, taking pride in completing the task correctly. We love to get stuck in and help with any task and if not sure how to do it we would be keen to learn. We are also not afraid to help out with cooking and cleaning if needed. We are really looking forward to meeting new people and seeing more of this beautiful country along our journey.
A little bit about myself, Rachael. I trained and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse at home in England in 2017 and have worked in various small animal practices since. I also have a huge love for horses and large animals! During my previous travels in Australia I worked (through workaway) on a horse stud and several cattle ranches and loved delivering calves!! I have ridden since I was 4 years old and have had my own horses since the age of 12, regularly competing in dressage and show-jumping with the odd bit of cross-country too. I am vegetarian but am happy for people around me to eat meat and am also equally happy to prepare my own food if needed!!
Now a little about Ollie. I am a real people person, full of enthusiasm. I have experience in a wide range of job areas from hospitality, garden maintenance and photography in my most recent job as a 'property lister'. I also have a real love of animals and the great outdoors. I have also been lucky enough to travel before, living in New Zealand and travelling Australia, Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia as well as lots of smaller European adventures.
