My name is Kirsten, I am 55 years old and have had many workawayers on my farm over the last few years. I am also registered as a host at Workaway.
In October 2022, after working for many years in management positions, I decided to travel myself and get to know other hosts and supporting them with their projects.
I renovated my farm from 2016 and can provide a variety of support with my skills.
My time as a workaway should also be a time of reorientation at the same time. After many years of hardship, I lost my company through bankruptcy and have to deal with this break in my life in order to reorient myself.
I draw a lot of strength from nature, from creative and physical activities - and that's why I would like to get involved in your projects in the coming time.

I have manual skills and also like to be creative. Due to my management positions with a focus on change management, I am a good coach and mentor.
I enjoy working with people, but I also appreciate having my place of retreat.
I am open and able to learn and would like to keep this curiosity and willingness to learn into old age. So with all the jobs I've found here on Workaway that are needed, I believe I can break in quickly and efficiently. I am very efficient and can take on responsibility.
I would prefer a job that gives me freedom and opportunities to get involved

What else ...

I love music, especially opera. I love rummy and other card games and chess . I am interested in the cultural characteristics of other countries and I would love to learn Albanien and Rumania.
I read a lot and know a lot about herbs (I mostly eat and drink what nature offer us and this nearly 12 month per year - I live almost mainly from the herbs on my farm and could perhaps bring this knowledge to my hosts, depending on the situation.
I used to play the violine when I was young and tried to learn to play the clarinett my favorit instrument.
I renovated my 120 years old farmhouse mostly on my own and gained a lot of Knowledge in all Kind of Renovation tasks but still have to learn a lot.
At the Moment I was involved in a tiny House project in Sweden with 2 Albaniens and since this Moment I am very convinced about this. I have my own LKW with integrated Living Space and Travel like this. I used to run an airbnb / Booking Business and Can also Support my Host with this.
