Hi, I recently retired from 35 years working in IT as an owner and Director of 3 businesses . I suffered from cancer 4 years ago and I decided to enjoy as much as I could the things that I am passionate about (travel and wildlife). My health is now very good and I am busy exploring central and South America. I love animals and I have had a number of dogs, cats and other animals. I can ride horses.

I also have a recently completed UK DBS Check that was clean as I was working with young adults.

I was brought up on a farm, so I am use to working with animals. Enjoy gardening and have good IT skills. Enjoy physical work and can turn my hand to most things. Have worked around the world so very use to adjusting to changing environments.

Paul came to shelter at my house for 4 days during the tropical storm/hurricane Sara . He was very responsible, thoughtful , ethical, protective towards the dog- and house sitting job he came to the island for and went out of his way to do the right thing to keep the dogs and that house safe. I am loving my stay and the work. After a lengthy period with others it is fantastic to be somewhere I can both relax and carry out meaningful work. The gardening is not difficult although it gets warm in the middle of the day so I am favouring early starts and relaxing in the hammock in the heat of the day.
