Description

We are Poppy (25F - British) and Gianni (29M - Belgian) a couple seeking workaway opportunities!
We share a love for travelling and experiencing new cultures and places. We are motivated and hardworking, eager to learn and share :)

Poppy is a trained landscape architect, and has a background in architecture and fine art. She is an avid walker, having walked along a long stretch of the South West Coast path in England, and having completed the South Downs way carrying her tent and all food. She loves nature and natural experiences, having worked in a prairie garden, and previously WWOOFed in a garden in Canada. She is motivated in learning about art, the natural world and the philosophy and history of a place. Hiking and exploring is what brings her true happiness, and sharing that experience with others.

Gianni is a seasoned traveller and coder, with a background in management and working with pharmaceutical companies. He has spent time living in the United States, and has a love for diving as a qualified dive master. Last year he spent 8 months travelling South East Asia (where him and Poppy met!) and has been itching to get back out ever since. He is a curious and open minded person, with a kind heart and enthusiasm to bring happiness to others. He and Poppy share a deep love for nature and being outdoors.

I am a good all-rounder, and an eager and quick learner when it comes to new skills! I would be very happy to help you with gardening, maintenance, DIY, and have a good attention to detail.

Gianni
- Web design (HTML, CSS, JS) and home computer automation.
- Video editing in Adobe and Blender
- 3D design and animation. Works in synergy with Poppy's CAD skills.
- Drone piloting
- Home DIY and tinkering.

Like Poppy, I am eager to learn new skills and a quick, curious learner. I'd be delighted to care for your house, garden and computers.
