Description

After selling my farm in New Mexico (www.milabrazos.org) two year ago, I decided to go sailing. I’m currently in New Zealand after crossing the Pacific from Panama. I love culture and wish to immerse myself in the local way of life.
I’m super handy and dependable, and have plenty of excellent references. I’m fit, speak French and English fluently, I’m a good cook, practice yoga daily, don’t smoke, hardly ever drink and eat mostly vegetarian unless I can catch a fish.
I’m retired and have plenty of time on my hands.

First of all, I ran businesses ( (Music Club, Restaurant, Construction) for 20 years before becoming a farmer.
I still run a non-profit which seeks to acquire and preserve land for future generations
I was a commercial fisherman in Alaska for 5 years, as well as a ski racer and ski instructor in the French Alps.
I have remodeled and build homes, as well as retrofitted commercial buildings.
I am very organized, focused and thorough, as well as very intentional in my work.
I like efficiency, beauty, creativity and fun.
My Dad was a car mechanic so I'm comfortable with machines, pumps, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and started welding a couple years ago.

What else ...

I am pretty free right now after farmsteading for 5 years in a very rural setting. I want to be around cool folks doing cool projects that are good for the land and children. I am frugal and resourceful, and potty trained. I clean, cook, build, fix, plant and love to use my imagination to make environments pleasant for humans, animals and spirits. I am a good communicator with good boundaries. I walk my talk.
