My name is Philippa, but go by Pip and Pippa! I am looking to make new friends, explore the UK and Europe and enjoy an exciting new adventure abroad.

I have worked in the arts for the past 5 years in commercial galleries, community based spaces and artist run initiatives. I am very passionate about arts and culture and enjoy spending my time in beautiful, creative spaces. Helping people and making new friends and being outdoors fills my cup!

As an arts-worker I have installed and de-installed many exhibitions, which consists of condition reporting, handing of art works, painting, restoring walls, safely using drills, levels. I have also run a busy bar at monthly exhibition opening and events. I have assisted with the bump in and out for galleries and suppliers, general event set up, ticket sales and organisation of the registration desk, visitor, gallery and staff liaison, social media content, and conducted tours of the fair for private groups.

I am an aunty to a beautiful four year old, two year and 3 month old, I love baby sitting and getting creative with them!

I have also worked in hospitality for 10 years, this consisted of taking orders, preparing/serving coffee, food, and drinks. Provided excellent customer service whilst maintaining a “can do” attitude. Operating a POS and EFTPOS machine with cash handling duties. Café cleaning duties including cleaning coffee machines and equipment. Maintaining a clean service area according to food safety standards.

I love going for runs and throwing a frizbee around! I also enjoy listening to music, cooking and reading books, I just finished reading Kitchen Confidential and loved it.
