Hi there 👋 👋 👋

I'm Catherine and I'm currently travelling Europe and Asia. My dreams have always been to develop my skills and broaden my experiences so I can become a jack-of-all-trades kind of person, and hopefully I can do that while travelling all around the world🤗. I'm eager to immerse myself in a new culture and learn about the traditions and values of the host's. Previously, I have done workaway/aupairs looking after children in Finland, Italy, Spain, Ireland and Germany, and teaching English for a cultural exchange program in Poland, Kore and Thailand.

Nowadays, I would like to broaden my experiences and I see this as a unique opportunity to gain new skills, especially hands on skills like carpentry pottery gardening and painting! Through this I want to develop a deeper understanding of the needs and challenges of those around me. I'm interested in forming meaningful connections with different cultures and families, creating lasting bonds and becoming an integral part of their lives.

I believe I qualify for the job as I am flexible and adaptable, willing to assist with a variety of tasks, whether it's providing companionship, helping with daily chores, or running errands. I have significant experience in caregiving, particularly in looking after my grandparents and providing care for my older parents. This first-hand experience has given me a deep understanding of the unique needs and challenges faced by older individuals. I have also looked after and taught children of various age groups, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the needs of both older and younger family members.

I once saw a video of a mixed european language and became curious about the history behind how they developed and how they influence or are similar to one another. At the moment I only speak English and Thai but have been surrounded by Spanish and Italian speaking communities for years and want to learn the difference between them and other languages by learning them for myself.
