Hi, I´m Pihla, 21 years old and from Finland. I love discovering new places and cultures while connecting with people. I´m open-minded and easygoing, and I always try to see something good in everything. I love spontaneous adventures, and I´m always trying to step out of my comfort zone more.

I´m especially interested in working with children and animals, but I´m always happy to learn new skills. I have been an au pair three times in Spain and volunteered on two horse farms in Croatia and Italy.

I´m hard-working and truly enjoy helping others and feeling like what I do has meaning. In my free time, I enjoy doing sports, meeting friends, spending time in nature, doing yoga, and baking.

I have been an au pair in three different families in Spain for kids aged 2-10. My tasks included school drop off/pick up, making lunch, after-school activities and playing, babysitting and putting the kids to bed, helping with homework, and teaching English.

I have worked several customer service jobs since I was 16, where I have learned good communication and problem-solving skills. I have worked in a fast food restaurant, a grocery store, a hardware store, and a hotel restaurant.

I have worked in home cleaning, where I learned thorough and efficient cleaning techniques. I have worked in elderly care, where I helped elderly people with running errands and with easy tasks in their homes.

I have experience taking care of different kinds of animals. I have done horse riding for several years, and also worked at a kids' pony club and summer camps. I have volunteered on two horse farms in Croatia and Italy, leading tourists on tours and taking care of the horses.
