  • Description

    Hi lovely people :)
I quit my job at the university to take a long break and focus on myself for a while. I’m quite eager to have more and new experiences with physical work. For instance farming, building and improving things (for instance furniture or huts) and gardening and conservation work (like planting trees or growing coral) or something completely different. But I know that it’s not always going to be the fun kind of work and I will also clean toilets or whatever when that is necessary!
I thrive in loving communities where we all look out for one another and I’d be very happy to help set up more places like this. Open, compassionate communication is pretty important to me and I always strive to be better at it myself. When something isn’t going like one of us thinks it should, let’s talk about it sooner rather than later :)

  • More details about your skills

When it comes to handy and crafts work, I have some experience but no formal education. I helped repair some cars, build the roof of our house, packed a merry-go-round for being transported but all with supervision from skilled people. Would love to learn much more here. I’m hoping to build my own campervan at some point, so any experiences are appreciated :)
I also fixed various appliances in the flat-shares I lived in, love gardening and growing plants, and know how to deal with computers (Windows, Mac, and Linux). I co-organized two summer schools and taught both private lessons and publicly at the university. Actually sharing knowledge is a wonderful past time for me! :)
If you need help with maths, statistics, machine learning or theoretical neuroscience for some odd reason, I can probably help you out too. I generally like to talk about (nerdy) topics in depth, so let’s have great conversations :)

  • Age

    30

  • What else ...

I started playing the Ukulele recently and have mine with me. Would love to make music together! :)
I’m also interested in meditation and how to be a happier person. Not too much into the very spiritual aspects of this but I think there is still quite a lot to learn about how our minds work and feel from the first person perspective.
