Activities i am interested in:
I love meeting people, trying new foods, exploring small villages and the countryside, trying local pubs, and the occasional city thrown in there for fun too.
My next destination:
Adelaide, Australia - from Jan 2025 until Dec 2025 View allDescription
Keen to contribute, particularly to eco-friendly gardening and outdoor projects!
I am a New Zealander on the road for a few months and loving being out in the world again. I find travelling much more rewarding when I can stop for a while and pitch in, get my hands dirty, and connect with people living in the area. I am sociable but also love to chill out by walking, riding a bike, or reading my book. There's nothing better than a swim (or a beer!) after a hard day of work.
This is my first time on Workaway - I have done WWOOFing before. I am keen to learn more practical skills and to learn more about different ways of doing things.Interests

More details about your skills
Gardening: I love gardening, especially with the guidance of someone knowledgeable - I have grown vegetables, herbs and flowers but I will say that weeding is my best skill so far. I have helped with lots of community weeding and treeplanting over the years, and have worked on my own garden, and I'd love to increase my skills.
General outdoor work: I have various experience (I'm getting better at chopping kindling) and am happy to try new things.
Indoors work: I like to cook, bake and make preserves, etc. I have done some basic home renovations such as sanding, stripping wallpaper and painting. Some of my most recent volunteer experience was washing dishes and doing kitchen prep at a pay-what-you-can restaurant in Wellington, New Zealand.
I also have research, analysis writing and communication skills which may come in handy at some stage! :DAge

I am keen to learn how to play pool well, and learn some basic climbing or bouldering skills.
Other things I love to do - going to live music and theatre, going to galleries and the occasional museum, swimming, films, community radio, playing cards and games with my friends, crosswords, listening to music and podcasts, eating, drinking, being merry...Some more information
