Hey there!

I'm Alicia, it's so nice to meet you!

I'm planning my first Workaway adventure, and I'm really excited. But that doesn't mean I'm an inexperienced person :) Let me tell you a little about myself:

I was born in Hong Kong, but spent most of my life in Germany. I was raised bilingually and speak English and German fluently. I hold a Cambridge C2 English and a DELE B1 Spanish certificate. I'm currently working on getting fluent in Spanish, it's this year's big goal.

I've been active in the organisation of movements (Fridays For Future), community projects (Inclusion Meets Environmentalism Wiesbaden) and tutoring since I was 14. Now that I've finished my Abitur and an internship at an NGO, I want to go out into the world and learn. You can expect me to be curious, hard-working, flexible and very happy to interact with people!

I also have a drivers' license. I enjoy reading, jogging, dancing and many more things. Check that out in the 'what else' section below :)

I enjoy good-natured discussions, sewing and reading. I also like swimming, jogging and dancing! I've practised different kinds of martial arts over the years, the most recent being Wing-Chun Kung Fu.

A skill I'm working on right now: learning how to shuffle a deck of cards. (it's not going well..)
