My name is Peggy, I have been living in Australia for the last year after spending the last month volunteering in a hostel in Mexico, I am now travelling in Colombia. I am a qualified yoga teacher, and would love to find a volunteering opportunity where I can use this skill.

I love to learn new skill, discover new places and meet new people and create lasting connections. I am interested in learning languages, yoga and wellness, and food and cooking. I am looking for cultural exchanges where I can learn more about the country I am in as well as meeting local people and getting to see an authentic way of life.

I have lots of experience volunteering, my past experiences include; cooking vegan food for retreat guests, making coffee as a barista, housekeeping - making beds, reception and general admin tasks, welcoming, chatting and helping guests and customers.

I have lots of customer service experience - I am friendly and chatty and enjoy getting to know people and making people feel welcome and comfortable.

I will be taking a yoga teacher training course and will be a qualified yoga teacher soon.

What else ...

I am really interested in Yoga, I will be taking part in a Yoga Teacher training course in March and will then be qualified to teach. I am also interested in wellness practices in general.

I love hiking and exploring nature and would love to see the most I can while volunteering.

I love art and design and my working background is in fashion design - I would be very interested in any opportunities to work with sewing or art in some way.

I also have a lot of experience in hospitality roles and enjoy using the skills I have making coffee and drinks. I am also a vegetarian, and have experience cooking in previous volunteering positions - I am really passionate about food and cooking and would love to learn more about local cuisines as well as sharing my own skills!
