Hi,

My name is Jan, and I am from Prague in the Czech Republic. I have traveled extensively, often for periods of no less than six months, as I believe this is the only way to truly understand a country and its culture. Long-term travel can be expensive, so I always try to find work wherever I go, allowing me to stay longer and immerse myself in the local way of life.

I have traveled to New Zealand - farm work, Alaska - picking mushroom, Canada - cabinet maker, Costa Rica - helping aound Hostel, and many other countries across Europe. Traveling is my greatest passion, but always returning to the Czech Republic, I am ready once again to take my backpack and explore the world. I would describe myself as a calm and quiet person who loves hike the mountains and surf in ocean.

Since 2009, I have been working as a cabinet maker and doing basic carpentry. Before that, I worked in hospitality. Currently, I am in Norway and enjoying my time here. I would love to stay longer to learn more about Norway and its culture.

Summary I try my best keep in touch with nature I was tired with live in big city I left my job and here I am looking forward to new advanture.

My background includes a diverse range of skills and experiences. I started my career as a waiter, a role I held for 4-5 years. Following that, I worked in maintenance for the city of Prague, where I learned skills such as welding, grinding, and working with iron.

In 2009, I discovered my passion for woodworking and transitioned to a new career as a cabinet maker. Since then, I have been creating custom furniture in my small workshop, primarily for my family and friends.
