Description
We both love traveling and discovering new cultures. We did an awesome trip together with two vocations: to find ourselves and to share with others. Now, my sister, Estelle, came back to France and I, Amélie, travel around New Zealand with my bestfriend, Vianney. We want to give a little of our time to learn new ways of doing, living and thinking, and we're sure that workaway can help us do just that. Being in natural environments bring us happiness.

We are both engineers. I, Amélie, finished my studies in September and decided to take a gap year in New Zealand. We did our engineering school in partnership with a company so we have already worked at least 5 years and been more than 3 months in an English-speaking country, so we have both a good English level.
Moreover we did casual jobs like farming, construction, housekeeping and taking care of dogs and cats in a clinic.
We are hardworkers and really curious so we learn quickly what we need to do in a job.

We used to play a lot of cards games in our family, we both love animals, reading and hiking. Also Amélie loves meetting people and learn about the culture of the country and the of the different regions.

We could trained the dogs thanks to Janne, we saw operations and did some medications for the rescued ones. We learned a lot from this foundation, so we would like to say thank to all the staff for that.
