Hi, I'm Paula! I'm 18 years old and I've always been more of an adventurous person... And after I've finished school, I wanted to fulfill my dream and go on a Backpacking Adventure. And where could be a better place for that then the beautiful countries of South East Asia? On this journey I want to grow personally and do things I never thought I could do. I love to challenge myself and hope to create amazing stories and memories I can tell my kids sometime in the future :) And I'm really looking forward to meeting wonderful people on this trip that can help me discover what person I want to be in the future... And as I see it the world is way to beautiful to not discover all the different things it has to offer and I'm sooo ready for it :))) ! I hope to see some of you guys soon and I can't wait for the adventure to start!

More details about my language interests
I really love the English language as so many people around the world are able to communicate with each other through it. And I really want to help spread this skill. I am pretty good at English since I spent three months in the US and my dad is an English teacher. But I'd also love to teach German to anyone who is interested in learning it. I've already tutored in both subjects so I hope I can use some of my skills I learned during that tutoring for teaching these two languages...

I’d like to start by saying that I think I’m pretty good with people and adapting to new situations. I’ve worked in a few different jobs where I had to prove my communication skills with costumers and coworkers. And I’m a pretty fast learner, so if you show me what you need me for I normally understand it pretty well and try to do my best with helping you. I’m also a big fan of languages and therefore a pretty good writer which I could prove by being a part of the school newspaper. So if you need someone to write neutral or creative articles or something like that, I’d like to think that I’m the right person for you. I'm also really good with kids. And I got better with them while I've been working in an Adventure Park for the past 2 years. Additionally I have a bit of experience with teaching since I tutored for a few years in 3 subjects, including English (which I could improve during my exchange in the US). In conclusion one could say that I’m an open and creative person and also a fast learner and I hope I really can be a supporter for whatever task you need me for :)

What else ...

I play handball twice a week which made me a really good teamplayer. I love to spend time with my friends but what I almost love more is making new friends. And I love creating unforgettable memories and stories. I also play the flute and a little bit of piano, so I'm a big music fan. And if you're ever craving a treat I could bake you some German pastries since I love baking!
