Description
Hello everyone! 👋🏼 My name is Paul, I'm 26 years old, and I’m about to finally make a dream come true that’s been in my mind for years: going to Canada on a Working Holiday Visa! 🍁✨
I’ve thought about it many times, but the idea of going solo and stepping out of my comfort zone used to scare me a bit... Until today. Because now, I feel ready. Ready to discover myself, open up to the world, learn English (I’ve got some basics, but let’s be honest, I’ve still got work to do 😅), explore new cultures, and meet unforgettable people. In short, I’m ready to taste real life. 🌍
I’ll be arriving in Canada in July, and after that… no more deadlines! I’ll let the wind take me wherever the opportunities and encounters lead. I love the idea of spontaneity, adventure, and total freedom. 🚀
I’m a sociable person, always up for a good conversation (or a good laugh 😄). I love learning, sharing, and pushing my limits – perseverance is my thing! And if there’s also a good dose of fun and adventure, then that’s the perfect combo! 🎉
I grew up with a dog whom I loved with all my heart ❤️, and later, I had a cat I unfortunately had to part with… and it broke my heart 💔. But one thing’s for sure: I absolutely love animals, and being around them is always a real joy for me! 🐾
I’m really excited to meet new people, exchange experiences, and live some unique adventures. If you think we can bring something to each other, I’d be happy to meet you! 😊 Hope to see you soon! 👋🏼

One of my main goals with this Working Holiday Visa is to really learn English. I’ve got some basics, but let’s be honest… if you drop me in the middle of a conversation, there’s a good chance I’ll just smile politely and hope I understood half of what was said. 😅 But I’m super motivated! I love learning from people, so if you’re up for helping me improve, I’m all in for picking up every word, expression (even the weirdest ones), and every unlikely accent! And in exchange? I can help you with French! 🇫🇷 Sure, it’s a language full of exceptions, strange rules, and pronunciations that make no sense… but it’s also a beautiful language, and I promise, with me, it’ll be fun and stress-free! Whether it’s learning a few phrases, improving your accent, or just understanding why we put silent "s" everywhere, I’ll be happy to help. 😆 In short, if you’re looking for someone motivated, curious, and ready to exchange, I’m your man! 🔥

More details about your skills
When it comes to work, I’ve tried my hand at quite a few things! I’ve been a cashier, delivery driver, fast-food employee, postal worker, and even a campsite entertainer. I also worked in a restaurant where I did everything… except cooking (trust me, that was better for everyone 😅). I’ve helped my father in his auto repair shop, done some carpentry and roofing, and even worked in human resources, since I have a master’s degree in the field.
Before that, I also earned a degree in Sports Science (STAPS) because sports have always played a big role in my life. In short, my background is as varied as I am!
One thing’s for sure: I’m not afraid to roll up my sleeves and learn new things! What drives me the most is exactly that—learning from people, exchanging ideas, discovering new worlds, and taking on new challenges so I can do anything, just ask. 🔥

What else ...
When I'm not working or learning English, you’ll probably find me traveling, exploring new places, and discovering different cultures. 🌍 It’s a true passion of mine! But adventure isn’t just about traveling—it can also be found in other passions, like music, pop culture, and of course, my unconditional love for video games. 🎮 I could spend hours exploring virtual worlds, taking on challenges, and trying to save the universe (or at least my reputation after a bad match 😅).
I'm also a huge sports fan—it's been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. Running is a regular habit for me, a great way to clear my mind and get some fresh air. 🏃♂️ But what I truly love are outdoor sports: climbing, via ferrata, mountain biking, canyoning, diving—basically anything that lets me escape, push my limits, and enjoy nature! 🏞️ The adrenaline rush from climbing, the stunning landscapes while biking, the thrill of diving… these sports are my way of connecting with adventure and the great outdoors.
Oh, and speaking of challenges, I also love board games, but… I’m a terrible loser. Don’t be surprised if I make a little scene after a game of Monopoly or Catan (nothing dramatic, I promise 😜). In short, I’m someone who loves discovering new things, having fun, taking on challenges (whether it’s an outdoor sport, a video game, or a board game), and sharing great moments with others. If you enjoy good vibes and little adventures, we’re probably going to get along just fine! 😁
