Description
My name is Omaima 🍀🌛🌞. I have been doing workaway for over 3 years and a half in Europe and Mexico, mainly in gardens, communities and animal sanctuaries. I have started traveling in this way because I didn't want to just visit but to find places to call home where I can work and grow while meeting and learning from many different people that I find in my way. I travel with the idea of finding people and places that are trying to heal and undo some of the damage made by humans, working and living in nature.
During these years I've discovered my passion for a calm and meaningfull existence, working with the earth through my hands, creating vegetables, succulent or medicinal herb garden. My objective is to learn more about medecinal plants and endemic and wild plants. Moreover I am very interested in eco construction and new ways for sustainable and efficient ways of building in harmony with mother nature. I wish to learn more about the fungi world, would love to learn to identify and be able to grow them. I have an interest for practicing more yoga and getting into meditation.
My skills are:

Mi nombre es Omaima🍀🌛🌞 Llevo 3 años y medio haciendo voluntariados en Europa y ahora en México, principalmente en huertos, comunidades y refugios de animales. Escogi este tipo de viaje con el deseo de conocer sitios para llamar hogar, donde puedo trabajar y crecer junto a personas que encuentro en el camino.
Durante este tiempo tuve la oportunidad de descubrir mi deseo por una existencia en paz con la naturaleza, trabajando con la tierra a través de mis manos, pudiendo crear huertos de verduras, suculentas y hierbas medecinales. Uno de mis objetivos principales es aprender sobre las plantas medecinales, endémicas y silvestres. Además, estoy muy interesada en practicar y aprender más sobre la eco construcción y otras maneras de construcción sostenibles y eficientes en harmonía con la madre naturaleza. Deseo aprender más sobre el mundo de los hongos, me encantaría tener la oportunidad de aprender a identificar y poder plantarlos. También estoy muy interesada en practicar más yoga y poder aprender más sobre la meditación.

I'm a very energetic person, I learn really fast and I have no problem adaptating to any situation. I have been doing workaway (through other websites) for a three years and a half in organic farmstays where the tasks that I would do are planting, transplanting, pruning, fertilizing, making planting beds, cooking, helping with the construction, food preserving, take care of goats, dogs, chickens, horses, donkeys... and with anything I could help with. I also lived and helped in animal farms, in a donkey sanctuary and in some communities.
