  • Description

Hello there ! My name is pronounced ( ush-een ). I am from Ireland but spend alot of time in the UK also. I currently am working offshore on ships developing sustainable energy so when I am not working on boats I like to travel and adventure as much as possible. I am an avid camper and love hiking/swimming and just playing outdoors in nature.

The main skills I would like to learn from my next workaway opportunity would be developing more horticulture/ permaculture skills. But always happy to learn new stuff in general, DIY skills/ hospitality or animal rescue.

I have taken part in projects with my friends developing small scale farms in the UK/Ireland and Spain ( the Spain one was a workaway experience ). This has involved hard manual labour, pruning, planting, digging, animal maintenance. I also used to help my mother run a dog shelter in Ireland when I was growing up which seems to have benefits on this site :)

I have am comfortable with children as I have my own son, Noah, who is 8 but he will not be travelling with me on my next trip. Yes so mainly hobby interests are being in outdoors in nature, finding a little peace in the world but also some fun new experiences. Please feel free to ask me any questions you like and I will try my best to answer! :) Looking forward to hearing from you :D.
