Description
Hi, my name is Jordan Nurrish and I'm a Personal Trainer and Scaffolder/construction worker from Birmingham, England. Previously, when I turned 21, which is 9 years ago now! I used Workaway to cycle from my home in Birmingham all the way to Spain. Passing through France and the Netherlands along the way. Thanks to the Workaway community I had the privilege of working on farms milking cows, living with different families and experiencing their cultures, renovating and looking after houses and all the fun long the way….it was one of the most wholesome experiences of my life so far and I am forever grateful for the friends and experiences I had on that journey.
Now I am 30 years old and unfortunately life has gotten in the way of my wanderlust in the form of houses, careers and running my own personal training business!
However, a friend of mine is getting married in Vancouver, BC and the travel bug has bitten once again! I am hoping that the Workaway family and ethos is still as strong as ever and I can find some kindred spirits to spend some of my time with while I am in Canada for the month.
I am open and curious of new experiences, not afraid to get stuck in and lend a hand to whatever is needed!
I have been a gym/health club Manager for the past 6 years before setting up my own personal training business which I am currently growing. I have also worked as a teaching assistant in a school working with children from 14-16 as well as a construction worker, mainly focusing on scaffolding but handy in many areas.Interests

I spent almost 3 months on their property helping with different building projects, odd jobs and also occasionally looking after the place while they were away on work. I had an amazing time with them and their neighbours (who also have workawayers) and can honestly say they are some of the most generous,… read more
