Description
I am a young open minded person and have finished my degree im occupational therapy in summer 2023. For the last few years before university I have been working on different jobs, finished my service in the army/civil service and spending my earnings exploring some of the world. Whenever possible I like to travel without an airplane keeping Planet Earth and our climate in mind. I have crossed the Atlantic Ocean by ship and travelled to the borders of China by the Transsibirian railway. Just me and my backpack. This inevitably leads to slower travels and longer stays. Both of which I have grown quite fond of in the meantime.
My friends see me as an energetic person that likes to chase after adventures from time to time. Long since they have gotten used to me being somewhere far away during summer break. I have always been a curious and a fan of exploring new places and activites. I like to engage with people, learn new things and have a fascination for nature.
In my free time I try to balance lots of sports, healty food, reading, being creative and connecting with friends.
The experience and feeling of connection during my first workaway stay was overwhelmimg, which is why I signed up for it again for my trip through Asia.

In the few years since highschool I have worked on many different jobs:
- as a occupational therapist in a center for neurorehabilitation. This was I last job, before I quit to travel for half a year with my partner
- cleaning up the coast of Norway for a month with workaway
- at a school as an assistance teacher for kids with a handicap in language
- been a dishwasher in a small Café/Bar and later joined the team to work behind the bar and as a waiter until we had to close down due to Covid
- spent a winter in a ski resort working as a childminder
- helped out with the animals and enclosures in our local Zoo doing lots of physical work
- organised the snacks and bar at a sand-sculpture-festival
-three internships as a occupational therapist in a kids hospital, a rehabilitation center for neuronal diseases and in handtherapy.
I am able to work physically hard jobs and I am used to work and interact with people. I am good with numbers or technology and know my way around a camera. I am a quite creative person and love to draw or design things. I speak English fluently and (Swiss-) German is my mother tongue.
Last but not least I have a lot of patience and I don't mind doing dirty work (cleaning up the coast in norway, as a dishwasher or working in the zoo that was daily business).
So yeah general speaking I am an allrounder with a little know how in many areas, always interested in learning something new. But most importantly I am a teamplayer, bringing with me a good mood, communication skills and new ideas. That's what people always seemed to like the most about me.
