Hi! We’re Nina (30) and Julien (36), a French-Italian couple from the Paris area. We’ve been traveling across Asia since January 2025 and we’ll arrive in Australia in August for a one-year Working Holiday adventure. We love discovering new places, meeting people, and experiencing everyday life in different cultures.

Nina works in neuroscience as a healthcare professional with both adults and children, while Julien is an aircraft technician who loves to understand how things work.

We’re happiest when we’re outside : scuba diving in the ocean, hiking a new trail, running in the hills or exploring by bike. Animals are a big part of our lives too – Nina has a real passion for horse riding.

We enjoy cooking, keeping a home welcoming and tidy, and giving a hand in the garden. We’re also comfortable with computers and digital tools. Nina has experience with children from babysitting when she was younger.

We speak French, English (Nina Italian too), and we’re learning Spanish.

For us, Workaway is all about sharing – stories, skills, meals, and everyday life. We love the idea of becoming part of someone’s daily routine, even for a short time, and exchanging cultures in a real and meaningful way.

We are both certified Divemasters, which means we have professional-level scuba diving training. We are confident in the water, know how to assist divers, and can handle basic tasks on a boat such as equipment preparation, safety checks and general maintenance.

Beyond diving, we are hands-on and enjoy a mix of practical tasks. We can cook simple homemade meals, keep living spaces organised and clean, and help with day-to-day household duties. We also have some experience with light gardening and outdoor work, and we are comfortable learning new manual skills as needed.

Julien works as an aircraft technician, so he is methodical, precise and used to technical or mechanical problem-solving. Nina comes from a healthcare background in neuroscience and has experience with both adults and children, as well as previous babysitting experience. We are also at ease with computers, digital tools and general tech support.

We both love animals and are happy to help care for them. Nina is also passionate about horse riding and has spent time around horses, so she is confident with basic care and handling.
