  • Description

My name is Nina Navales (1rst Worker)

Professionally I am a social worker and also a chef. I am very lucky because it is not only my profession but also my great passions.

I have been working for 10 years with children in vulnerable situations, accompanying them in their learning and growing process. We do fun learning activities, homework, cultural excursions and much more.

My other great passion is cooking, I have worked in many restaurants and since I was born I have been able to travel around the world tasting and learning the cuisine of other countries.

I am a cheerful and empathetic person, family oriented and with a lot of energy and motivation to learn and meet new cultures and people.

I am a climber and mountaineer in my free time, it comes from my family. In addition to practicing all the sports that offer me.

I am also a musician, I play instruments such as guitar, saxophone, cello and piano. I can and want to learn more.

I have undertaken a great journey and I am trying to go around the world. I am a fan of cultural differences, of being able to learn from the new things I meet and to be able to participate in them. For this reason the way to travel is to be able to do work because the involvement with the community can be much greater and enriching.

My name is Aida Gómez (2nd Worker)

I come from Barcelona. In fact from a small town. Most of my family and friends live there. I lived surrounded by woods and playing in the village streets with the other boys and girls.

At the age of 16, I decided to fly to the city and study artistic baccalaureate. I discovered that the world was much more than the village and there I realized that one day I would leave everything to fly.

Before going to university, I went to live in London for a year, where I worked as an aupair with a family. It was a beautiful experience.

Once I came back I studied social education. We could say that apart from being my profession, it is a very important part of my life.

I have worked with teenagers, with the elderly, with small creatures and with women.

I am a person who likes change, new things and enriching experiences. I try to look for the positive and learning side in everything.

So, the desire to be able to do something around the world through volunteering
