Description
Hello everybody,
We are Nina (27) and Julius (26), a couple from Germany.
In February 2024 we quit our jobs and moved out of our apartment in Cologne and started traveling some parts of the world with 6 months of work and travel in Canada and touring the USA west coast and nationalparks with a van as our first stops. Now we are in Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama, before going to a fraction of South America as well as Southeast Asia.
Because we don't just want to travel but also get to know different people, cultures and of ways of living and working, we thought workaway would be the perfect option for that.

I (Nina) love to travel, because I am curious about meeting new people and get to know other cultures and ways to live. I am more the spontaneous type and like to try new things. Also I am interested in various things, which means I always want to learn and try something new and talk about the things we are passionate about. I am reliable and don't want to leave a task unfinished.

I (Julius) am a soccer coach and I love doing the usual sports. But I'm always down to try new sports and different adventurous activities as well. Also, I am a data analyst, so I could help with some IT, computer stuff.
Unlike Nina usually I like to plan some stuff, so we don't get lost or even worse, miss out amazing spots and locations. I'm kind of a perfectionist and want to finish one task with 100% focus until I get to the next one - she always tells me I am to efficient, but I take that as a compliment haha

We stayed one week at Raúl and his brothers home. They and their friends are super chill and fun! Also the work was kind of easy as we did some painting/ gardening and Raúl was very flexible about the hours.

We stayed 2 weeks at Rebecca's wonderful finca in Guabas Arriba. The first week was mostly about watering the plants, pollinizing vanilla flowers and improving our Spanish with her visiting family. I can just say good things about Nina and Julius, the were very helpful. They both help us at the reception . They are very responsible, great at problem solving and keep a good atmosphere.
