  • Description

    Hey there!

My name is Nila, I'm 25 years old and graduated from university last year with a bachelor's degree in Film Making specified in Directing and Screenwriting. It has always been my dream to travel the world so I saved up my money to travel East and South Asia for the next couple of months this year, starting in Japan. I was born and raised in Germany but my heritage is Tamil (Sri Lanka). I'm a very open minded, chill person and put great value in community and kindness :) In my free time I love to photograph, skateboarding, play the piano, meet up with friends to do anything and nothing at all, do anything crafty, watch movie, just enjoy nature and trying new things :) I'm fluent in German, Tamil, English (I spend a year in Australia after graduating from school) ,but also have basic knowledge in French, Spanish (I did a semester abroad in valencia), Russian and just started to learn basics in Japanese. My friends describe me as funny, loyal, kind and hard-working. I'm excited to meet you and getting to know you! Kind regards Nila :)

More details about my language interests
As I was born and raised in Germany, I am fluent in German. At home I speak Tamil with my parents since they are from Sri Lanka. I had a big interest in learning English from an early age. So I already used to read all my books and watch all my movies in English early on and had English as one of my main classes in high school. After school I spend a year in Australia, which als helped me to improve my English skills which I would say are now very good. But I would really much love to Japanese. I think its a beautiful language and very interesting from its structure.
