Hello everyone!
My name is Nelson and I’m from New Zealand. I’m currently living in Edinburgh, and my Irish wife and I are in the process of relocating to Ireland. I would like to move ahead of her while she wraps up her work, and use the time to get to know Ireland a little. I’m looking for about 3 months workaway-ing. A little about me: I love to travel and experience different cultures and ways of life. I’ve lived in Canada, Scotland, and Sweden, and I’ve travelled Asia and Europe extensively. I’ve spent 8+ years designing and building furniture back home, so I’m very handy with most tools (handheld and power). I’ve also spent time working on sheep farms. I’m not afraid of heavy lifting, so I’d be happy to help with any physical tasks.

I’ve started out life as a furniture maker. Building and designing furniture, kitchens and bathrooms for six years. I then decided to travel the world. On my travels, I’ve done lots of different jobs; working at a ski resort, as a landscaper, sheep farmer, at a five star lodge, construction, office management and sales. I’m always keen to work hard and love to get my hands dirty!
