Hello to everyone,
Currently me and my boyfriend Max (a real newcomer in workaway) like to start our first common workaway experience. We plan to travel to Vancouver in July 2024 and are looking for a workaway stay for 2 or 3 weeks in British Columbia. We would like to help someone with her/his daily work on a farm or support family life at a friendly place. We are quiet open to the tasks, we could involve in gardening, child care, animal care, household, general maintenance. We would join your family or your project with our daughter Amila. She will be one year old, so we would organize our work so that her needs are satisfied as well. We hope that you will understand this.
The workaway experience I got:
Travelling ten months 2014/15 in Australia I worked in a cafe as well as a waitress in a restaurant. I picked chilis and packed mangoes on local farms.
Later (I don't remember the year right now) I helped on a horse farm in Spain including feeding, fencing and cleaning up. In July/August 2016, I helped out in a hostel in Cap aux Os (Quebec, Canada) through out cleaning, doing a little reception work as well as caring for 4 years old boy. My last workaway trips lead me to a goat farm in Ireland and to an eco farm in Hungary.
To introduce us a little:
I'm a twenty-eight years old, open-minded person and very interested in new people and exciting talks. I am always willing to learn new skills, so don't worry to teach me new. I enjoy doing sports as much as I love cooking and eating. Max's first workaway trip is a bit of an adventure. He is a bit shy in English but he will do his best to understand you. He's interested in your culture and enjoys to talk about society and politics. He's twenty-seven and very keen on sports as well. We are really excited about getting to know you!!
