  • Description

I am a healthy, happy and positive person who likes to give myself to tasks and activities. I like to share my talents with people and live to share laughter and joy with those around me.
I enjoy cooking, I am very interested in developing a better knowledge of herbs and spices with a real interest in Indian cuisine, and food culture from the world all over.
I'm a certified yoga teacher, but it's been a minute. I've been focused on vipassana and shaolin arts more recently. I am a bookworm and a writer.
I am happiest when being given the opportunity to learn something new, find creative solutions to problems or challenges and am happy working in teams or alone as required.
I have an interest in languages. I want to learn another language, but am not yet sure which one. After 5ish years in Germany, my German is pretty well fluent. (At least fluent enough to read The Wheel of Time in German!)
I am interested to reconnect with a simpler life, building a better connection with food and nature. The last few years have been a deep dive into mind, body and spirit and the importance of food and environment are showing themselves as the greatest areas of future exploration. I will be overjoyed to engage in any activities involving food, nature, animals or physical labour.
I was born and raised in Melbourne, Australia and lived a pretty corporate life for about ten years before finally hearing the call that my heart is destined to see more of the world. So, I quit my job and moved to Berlin, began learning German and started collecting ideas and inspiration for the future.
After 4 years in Berlin, I took a year travelling Germany, then a year living in the countryside, before deciding I'd had enough. But Melbourne isn't home anymore. So I'm preparing to go on another year-long mission and see where I want to land next.
I am interested in philosophy, I love having deep and meaningful conversations to simply see where they go, I love sharing stories and company. With that being said, I can be at times introverted and am good in communicating this need.

More details about my language interests
I love language and am always happy to share my knowledge of English. My German is pretty damn good considering it's a second language. I really want to learn Arabic, but think I should just go and live somewhere it's the mother tongue before I bother trying to get started. A challenge doesn't need to be SO big ;)

  • What else ...

I am a very good talker, and a very good listener. For someone needing company this can be very beneficial :)
I am very self-motivated and disciplined. If discipline is an area in which you struggle, I am more than happy to share with you some tips and tricks that have helped me in my life.
I have spent the last years going very deeply into mindfulness based practices and various other spiritual disciplines (Yoga, Qigong, Wim Hof Method, Vipassana) and love to share stories and experiences. I am a certified Yoga teacher, and am always happy to share any knowledge I have with those keen to learn.
I love Chess as well, for anybody who is also a bit of a Chess nerd I would be more than happy to spend a few hours at the board!
I do my best to live a pretty minimalistic lifestyle, reducing consumption and waste creation wherever possible. Though I would not say that I am a strict vegetarian, when I live in the city I eat no meat as I cannot be sure of the ethical standards. However in an environment where animal welfare is upheld and seen as of primary importance, I have no real resistance to the occasion animal products.
Finally, I am good at expression through words. Perhaps your project needs some creative input for the digital side of things, or online reviews, and in this area I would be happy to look over what exists already and provide advice or create something new.
