Hi, I'm My, I come from Finland and I am excited to start using Workaway for the first time here in Australia! I recently graduated from university with a degree in Anthropology, and I am passionate about meeting new people and travelling. I enjoy reading books and playing the guitar. I love being outdoors and connect with nature in various ways, which is why my main interests are horse riding, scuba diving, sailing, hiking and camping, as well as gardening. Back home I like to do a lot of sports, and my hobbies are taekwondo, running and cross-country skiing.

Hello, my name is Ana and I'm a 21 years-old student and digital artist. My main hobbies are to draw, read, and listen (and play!) music. But I'm also a very active person and love to be in contact with nature. I like sports (such as horse-riding, taekwondo and surfing), and I love to go on hikes and camping. I also love to travel, because it allows me to discover new places, learn about different cultures, and meet interesting people.

Barista/ hospitality:
We both worked part-time as baristas in a cafe in London while studying. We prepared and served coffee and other beverages, and maintained a clean working environment.

- While backpacking in Australia, Ana volunteered in a hostel as a cleaner and a gardener, simultaneously she worked at a fish&chips shop as an all-rounder, packing, serving, cleaning, and helping with general tasks.

Caretaking:
- While backpacking, My spent 4 months working as an au pair on a cattle station in Queensland. She took care of 2 children aged 4 months and 2 years, and while they kept her busy at times, My loves spending time with children and seeing the world through their eyes! Additionally, My helped with mustering cattle and the family's horse training business.

- My has worked as a special needs caregiver in Finland, she provided nursing support for up to 8 people per day. Her duties included helping wheelchair users in their day-to-day lives, ensuring they're comfortable and coming up with daytime activities. My also cooked food and cleaned up their apartments on a regular basis.

- Additionally, My has worked as an au pair in Spain and Iceland, taking care of children aged between 4-13. Her duties included activity planning, playing and baking with the kids. She took care of cooking and always keeping the houses clean.
