  • Description

*Currently taking classes, will resume volunteer work in the Fall!*

Greetings! I’m so happy to find you here :)

I’m a recent homeschooled graduate who’s lived on the coast of Mexico my entire life. Growing up, I spent my days surfing, climbing trees with my cousins, and taking frequent trips around the world thanks to my wanderlusting parents. I have many entertaining and, at times, ridiculous stories to share from my journeys. However, despite this amazing upbringing, I’m eager to start my exploration of my birthplace, Canada!

Since I had such an exciting childhood, I always assumed I would settle down when I left home. Of course, my plan was foiled the second I began my time volunteering through the WWOOF program with my family. I fell in love with wandering from place to place, helping out on farms and homesteads, and immersing myself in other communities. Repetitive chores like weeding, cleaning, and planting have turned into some of my favorite activities, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.

My goal with each new venture is to assist my host in accomplishing as much as possible during my visit. I really do cherish getting to know people along the way and have found some lifelong friends during my previous adventures. I hope to continue this incredible journey in the coming months!!

  • More details about your skills

    Garden work:
Most of my experience lies in this area and I'd be more than happy to handle anything necessary. Weeding, mulching, seeding, and transplanting are what I'm already familiar with, but I'd be grateful to learn anything else required to be of assistance!

    Cleaning:
As a bit of a perfectionist, any type of routine cleaning duties I'd be delighted to take on! Sweeping, dusting, mopping, dish washing, ect.. are all things I quite thoroughly enjoy.

    Animal care:
I've helped care for chickens, goats, and pigs, along with household pets like dogs and cats. I absolutely love animals, especially cats, so I'd be overjoyed to help in any way I can. Whether it be feeding, walking, socializing or training, the chance to meet some creatures is one I'll always take.

    Technological assistance:
If there are any issues with technological devices that need correcting I'd be glad to aid in that domain, as troubleshooting and fixing basic problems is something I do on a daily basis.

    Cooking/Meal prep:
Although I don't have much knowledge about the topic, it interests me, and I'm always happy to lend a hand and learn along the way! I have a slight sensitivity to gluten, so I usually bring some recipes and simple ingredients along with me that I'd be happy to share if it sparks any interest.
