Description
Hello! We are a couple having andventure traveling throughout Europe. Morgan is originally from the Pacific Northwest of the US while Rui is from Southwest China. We met in grad school in Texas then lived in Dallas for the last four years (yes, we’re a “COVID couple “ 😂).
Last year, we decided to find back our lost life stolen by the COVID pandemic. This year, we quit our jobs, sold our house, and started traveling. We first did a road trip in the US, visiting families and friends. Then, we set foot on the European land in mid-June, starting from visiting a friend in Amsterdam. After a short visit in the Netherlands and Belgium, we turned west to the UK and Ireland. We will soon return to Amsterdam to continue our Europe exploration.
We love gardening, cooking, hiking, and snowboarding. We both enjoy working with our hands - wood working and baking for Morgan & arts and crafts for Rui.
We have completed some projects (maintenance and renovation) on our own house and many projects with family. Some of the projects we are proud of including cutting down a 7-meter tall tree, repainting exterior wood sidings, making a wooden bed frame and paving a stone patio.

For the past few years, we spent a lot of time cooking, gardening, and doing home repair (oh home ownership!).
Morgan worked with various power and hand tools since childhood, both in the shop, at home, and in landscaping. As a daughter of a tailor, Rui knows how to sew well.
Both of our previous jobs required us to be good at the the Microsoft 365 softwares and Google Workspace products. Rui is also familiar with the Adobe softwares, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, InDesign, and Lightroom.
We are always happy to learn new skills and help in any way we can!
