Description
My name is Moniek, I am a 61-year-old married woman and the mother of 4 grown-up
children. For the last 30 years, I have worked as a GP in my own practice in a small village in
the middle of the Netherlands. As of the 1th of January, I will stop doing so.
After all these
years working in my own practice, I want to devote more time to caring for our planet and
gain new experiences working as a doctor in different (international) settings. I want to work
with MSF Médecins Sans Frontières, and therefore I would like to improve my English.
While I understand English well, I feel like my speaking skills need improvement.
I consider myself an open, independent and hard-working person. Additionally, I am resilient
under stress and have strong organizational skills.There are different things that I can
contribute to your project, such as
- cooking good vegetarian and vegan food;
- cleaning up;
- working in the garden or in the woods;
- taking care of children.
