Hi! I'm Michelle, 29 years old, from beautiful New Zealand.

The main reasons why I love to travel are:
- To learn about different cultures and ways of life.
- To eat delicious food (and learn how to make it myself, I love to cook).
- To see amazing landscapes.

I've volunteered my way through Asia and Europe for a year back in 2018 and have done plenty of other trips over the years, I've traveled to over 40 countries (so far!). I would love for you to teach me your way of life :)

In my spare time I like to go hiking, play sports, read, and learn recipes to cook or bake. I'm also interested in nutrition and healthy lifestyles.

I am hard working, reliable, enthusiastic, a fast learner, and love chatting about life and having a laugh.

Some cool experiences I've had in 2018 include,
- Spending a month living in monastery in Nepal teaching English to monks. It was such an amazing experience!
- Working for a month in a kindergarten in a remote village in the Phillipines. From this experience I have a new found love of caring for children and teaching them new things.
- Working for a month in a special needs centre in China caring for the students and teaching them music, dance, art and English.
All of these experiences helped to grow my confidence and gave me vital teamwork and communication skills.
While I studied at university I did administration work for a jewellery shop for 1 year, and I honed my communication and customer service skills working as a waitress and in retail for 3 years.

I don't mind getting dirty and mucking in so would love to help around the house or in the garden.
