Hello workaway Community
We are Mathis and Mina, two recent high school graduates who are currently living our dream: an adventurous road trip across Europe! After many years in school, we’re ready to explore the world, experience new cultures, and broaden our horizons.
What motivates us? The longing for freedom and the desire to meet people from different countries who will enrich our journey. We don’t just want to feel like tourists—we want to actively contribute, gain experiences, and make meaningful connections. That’s why we chose workaway —to not only see Europe but to truly experience it.
We’re full of energy, easy-going, and excited about the opportunity to be part of your projects while discovering Europe in a unique way. Whether it’s working on a farm, helping out in a hostel, or engaging in social projects—we’re ready for any challenge and can’t wait to make new friends along the way!

Mina has already worked in retail and in various areas involving children, and she is passionate about pursuing a social career in the future. Mathis, on the other hand, is a certified lifeguard with experience in technical construction and home renovation. He has also worked in jobs that involved caring for or interacting with children. We both love animals, as we have pets of our own, and enjoy spending time with them.
We are both very creative—Mathis especially in the artistic field. Together, we’ve already worked at a festival, where we gained experience serving drinks behind the bar.
We’re eager to bring our diverse skills and enthusiasm to new projects and are excited to see what lies ahead on our journey!

Our motivation comes from a deep desire to explore new cultures, gain diverse experiences, and step out of our comfort zones. We’re driven by the opportunity to make meaningful connections, contribute to different communities, and learn from every encounter along the way.
We have a range of interests that fuel our enthusiasm. Mina is passionate about social work and enjoys working with children, which she has explored through various internships and volunteer roles. She is also keen on making a positive impact in the community. Mathis has a strong interest in the arts and technical skills, with experience in carpentry, construction, and animal care. Both of us share a love for animals, creativity, and the thrill of discovering new places.
Together, we are excited to apply our skills and interests to new projects, eager to contribute and learn as we embark on this journey across Europe.
