Hi everyone! We're Miloo and Lucas from Sweden and we're thrilled to be heading out on a canadian adventure this summer! We look forward to experenceing lots of nature, culture and great people. We also hope to learn new skills, share stories and help out!
Happiness to Lucas is feeling like I'm helping others, being in nature, spending time with loved ones, working out, singing with other people, sharing a meal over interesting conversations, overcoming obstacles and relaxing, feeling complete calmness.
Happiness to Miloo is swimming in lakes and rivers on a sunny day, sharing conversations and laughter, being inspired by a creative project and hanging out on the countryside. Happiness is also finding a cozy cafe, enjoying a cup of coffee and a peice of cake, going for evening runs outside and singning/playing the guitar!

More details about your skills
Miloo have earlier experience from Workaway and Helpex from before. She has travelled around Europe staying at different Helpx hosts mainly helping out with tasks cooking food, making beds, cleaning, taking care of customers and more. Last year she visited Canada during autumn and stayed with two different Workaway hosts where she mainly helped out in their gardens, chopped wood, took care of farm animals and other manual labour tasks. She also grew up on the Swedish countryside and has therefore achieved practical skills from just helping out at home her whole childhood.
Lucas hasn't done Workaway or Helpx before. But he is a registered nurse and is therefore used to hard work and working with his hands. Thanks to some years of gym experience he has strong arms and legs for heavy lifts. He grew up one hour outside of Stockholm (the capital of Sweden) which isn't really considered the countryside. But he grew up with a small garden that he helped his parents maintain during his childhood.
Both of us are quite practical, even though we aren't carpenters or farmers, we are quick learners! Our dream is to own our own homestead someday and we are therefore eager to learn more and follow your expertise.

What else ...
Miloo likes creative photographing and playing songs on her guitar. She also likes to bring out the paintbrushes once a while to paint.
Lucas loves lifting weights in the gym, running and also has an interest in music. In Östersund (where we live) he is a bass in a male choir. When the creative impulse hits he also likes to write novels or other forms of writing.
Both of us likes camping (we are bringing our tent to Canada!), hiking, watching a good movie, dinners with friends and of course "fika"!
