Hello potential hosts and fellow Workawayers,

I am an adventurous and active professional American woman, a mom to 2 adult children and a nonna to 2, as well as an energy healer and Reiki Master, who decided in 2018 to create the life I REALLY want to live! Which means to stay, I have fully stepped outside of the box, taken many leaps of faith, all with the goal of making dreams come true!

I spent 6 months from 2019 to 2020 in the UK where much of the time was spent doing volunteer work, while laying the groundwork for permanent relocation and the creation of a non-profit music mentorship organization I am starting here.

In February 2020 I went on to Italy. I started out in Abruzzo; Francavilla al Mare specifically, acting as an English tutor. This was not a Workaway, and due to Covid, my contract was ended early. Luckily, at the end of April, I was contacted through Workaway by an agritourismo in Tuscany, where I was until August. What an amazing experience this was working with lovely people in an Etruscan village in the Maremma region, near to Grossetto! It was like a dream come true in the midst of the stress of Covid! I did everything from cleaning guest cottages, and common areas, to helping with gardening tasks, painting interiors, serving meals to guests, as well as assisting to ensure their needs were met during their stay, and also assisting with some of the "business" side of things.

Having spent the last couple of years back to working fulltime, I decided again to travel a bit around the UK, England or Wales specifically for ease of commute, and very much loved my Workaway experiences, the opportunities they offered to give back while traveling.

My ideal Workaway situation is one which allows me to leverage my strengths and experience to meet a host's needs. Marketing, child-minding, painting (walls!), furniture refinishing (LOVE to use chalk paint), writing, event planning and execution, help with your small business or non-profit, website creation and content writing, animal care assistance, cooking, are some of my strengths. And of course if you fancy some reiki, (energy healing) I'm happy to offer that! I am a digital nomad (but do not allow this to take priority over my Workaway tasks!) so ability to connect to the internet in my private space is quite important.

I am easy to get along with, and get along with people of all ages. I genuinely prefer to be around those who choose happiness, and working on themselves as a way to make a positive impact on the world. I love the arts and creativity, and most of all music!

What else ...

Music and the arts have always been very central to my life and I am currently part of a non-profit organization called Hospice Rocks which brings awareness to the services offered by hospice, specifically music therapy, as well as raising funds for not for profit hospice organizations, through live music events.

What drives me most in life is the idea of having a positive impact on the lives of others, through my actions and interactions. with them.
