Hey, I'm Melina from Germany :-)

Since I see myself as a very cheerful, adventurous, open minded and curious person, I am very happy about the opportunity to get to know other exciting cultures, lots of new great people and little adventures through Workaway.

Since a large part of my family comes from Brazil, I was already able to gain a lot of experience and contact with foreign cultures and traveled a lot around the world.

Because my family owns a restaurant where I often help out, I am used to dealing with many different people on a daily basis and also working hard in this industry, this made me realise how much joy it brings me to get to know new people and their stories every day.

I am 20 years old and a nurse student wich means I have already seen a lot and know what it means to do work and helping people with passion. With my uncomplicated nature, I have no problem adapting and finding a connection quickly + I am open to new things and I am happy about every new little thing that I can learn and gain experience during my visit.

I love doing sports in my free time (volleyball, swimming, jogging, climbing, etc...) but I also enjoy learning new skills like and languages! But it is especially important to me to keep a smile on my face in everything I do and to always keep my positive and lively nature.

- Through my family's restaurant I have been able to gain many experience and skills in dealing with people, tourism and gastronomy.

- Because of my training as a nurse, I am used to long and demanding work and have no problems taking on responsibility

- Since I grew up on a farm, I have no problems with animals and enjoy dealing with them

- I like to try to learn new languages and I am happy to speak those I have already learned

- I really enjoy doing sport and learning new things or getting better together
