My joy comes from soaking up daily experiences. I love being outside, whatever the weather, working physically and socially. I'm an extrovert with a caring nature. In my spare time I read, knit, dance, and cook.
I'm hoping to improve my B2 Spanish, work towards a common goal with hosts and make memories to last a lifetime.
After I've left you'll remember me for my jokes, attention to detail, and spontaneous 'yes-man' attitude.

Hello! I am an actor/ writer living in London and am looking to expand my travelling experiences. I am a native English speaker and I am very keen to do a language swap, I have some very basic skills in French and Italian which I think will help me pick up languages a little more quickly - I am keen to learn Spanish in particular. As an actor I am an empathetic, people-person, I love making new friends, having new experiences, and expanding my knowledge of different cultures and the world. I have backpacked and travelled in Indonesia for a month with Megs, my partner, which was my first proper backpacking adventure, and I loved it. Otherwise I have been to various European countries and the USA.
I am a very practical person. I grew up in rural Wales in the countryside, around animals and always loving being outside, helping my parents with jobs inside and outside the house and looking after various animals we had growing up and which were around including sheep, rabbits, dogs, geese and so on. I love being outdoors and being in nature. I love doing handy jobs, bigger outdoor jobs, animal care and generally whatever needs doing! I am very good at problem solving and finding a fix for something. I am very comfortable with using tools from hammers and axes, to drills, saws, screwdrivers, hedge strimmers, lawnmowers and so on; I can also drive. I have re-decorated my room a few times so I am also happy with painting and decorating and gardening, and I am very enthusiastic about learning new skills. Thanks for reading!

We love many board games; Catan, Carcassonne, Betrayal at House on the Hill, card games. We like to sing and dance, make up stories, play party games like articulate or charades.
Essentially we're two easy going people looking to help out and have a rewarding few months in Spain.
We are a couple and do not want to stay with any homophobic hosts! Looking for LGBTQIA+ friendly hosts only.

The room was very small with no door separating the bathroom from the sleeping area. We were lucky that the other 2 workawayers had their own campervan and so we didn’t need to fit 4 of us in the room, but even with two of us, it was tight.
