My name is Matthew Meehan, I'm 18 and I'm from a medium sized town in the midlands of Ireland.

Besides the usual of good food, good sleep, good company and a good shower— what really brings me joy is story and art.

It’s always been the number one for me. It’s filled all my dreams throughout the years— of writing poetry, of writing novels, of making music (this one I actually started doing!) and everything like that.

A band called Twenty One Pilots got me into music a few years ago. Since then I’ve fallen in love with making my own beats/ loops/ demos. There's a few I really like too. It's really the combination of story and music that speaks to me though. It feels important.

If I’m to pick a second love then I’d probably go with sports and exercise. I played soccer almost everyday growing up- I’ve been in a few clubs and it’s always been fun and exciting.

I’ve also always enjoyed travelling, my home country is full of countryside and I definitely haven’t seen enough of what is here to see. Still I want to see the wider world first.

A third? Alright. It’s Rocket League. You know how it is.

* I’m a fast learner, probably my most important skill.
* I have worked at a bar in an Inn, mainly washing, collecting and stocking glasses. It was fast paced work but it was well worth the effort.
* I have worked as a roadie across Ireland, setting up live musicians/ bands and their gear and the surrounding sound and lights systems, working the lights live for a couple nights as well.
* I have an Irish safe-pass.
* I compose my own music and I can show you how to get into it if you’re interested!
* I’m a big animal lover so any work with pets— I’m going to go from giving the work my all to giving it more than my all, more than what is even physically and or mentally possible for any sane human to go and give.
* I’m happy to try and do and learn anything!

I would love to get property into camping. And maybe also sailing further down the road. Ive only done it once but climbing mountains is also great fun!
