Description
Hi! I'm Matilda! I'm a 22 year old Australian, just finishing up an au pairing job in England. I am now planning to travel Europe (from July onwards) and am very excited (and a little nervous!). My goal is to throw myself into whatever opportunities come my way- new experiences, new cultures, connecting with new people.
I love crafting (very passionate sewer!), baking and learning new skills/ ideas. I love being in nature and am keen to immerse myself in different landscapes, and swim in as many lakes as possible! I value laughter, kindness and finding joy in tiny, everyday moments.

I have experience as a cook, in both restaurant dining, pastry kitchens and cooking for workers on farms. I have spent a lot of time on sheep and crop farms (mainly cooking for the workers, but also working in the fields). I have worked a vintage as a cellar hand. I am also experienced in hospitality- waitressing, bar tending and cleaning. I have just spent 10 wonderful months au paring for two children and loved every minute of it.
My personal interests lie in crafting, community and using local produce in cookery/ food production. However, I'm very eager to give most things a go! I love learning and am very excited to take on any skills you would be willing to share! I am not afraid to get stuck in to a job and try something new, although I really appreciate clear instructions, especially when its something I have not done before.
