heyy, my name is Mathilda, I'm 18 years old and from Germany. After my graduation in June 2023, I decided to take a Gap Year before I'm going to start studying in October. I would like to use this year to gain lots of new experiences and learn a lot of new things.
In the last seven months, I did a two-month Internship at a Theatre and worked for three months at an elementary school. These were two completely different, but each in his way beautiful, experiences. Now I would love to travel and have my first volunteering experience with Workaway.
I would describe myself as kind, responsible and caring. Because I'm an introverted person I am usually a little bit shy when I meet new people, but as time goes on I become more and more open up.
I love to spend time with my friends, take long walks with my dog or read a good book.

In June 2023 I graduated (Abitur) in Germany. During my school time I did an Internship in a Bookstore (two weeks) and an Internship at an elementary school (one week). After school, I did a two-month Internship at a Theatre and worked for three months in a "Willkommensklasse", which is a special class for children with migratory backgrounds at an elementary school. I enjoyed the work with the children a lot and found it very interesting to get to know their different stories and cultures.
I love to spend time with animals, especially with dogs. Three years ago my family adopted a street dog from Portugal. Now I can't imagine life without our new family member Simba:)
