Hello everyone!
My name is Mathea. I love to observe objects and scenes and bring them to paper with a brush or a pen in the way I see them. Painting is my passion and a reason why I love to travel. Experiencing new things brings me fresh ideas and fills my heart.
I am a very outdoorsy person. Growing up I spent a lot of time in the Garden and the forest. In German I would say that I'm a »Wald Kind« (Forest Child). I still live very close to the woods and I love it every day.
This year I will leave europe for the first time in my life and i am so exited for all the people i will meet and all the inspiration it will bring me.

Growing up I learned a lot of crafty skills I still practice to this day. I know how to sew and embroider. This year I started to sew my own bags and clothes.
Some time ago I restored an old wooden desk and build myself a nightstand. (I love to craft and recycle things.)
I love to bake sweet treats.

Through my parents I learned a thing or two about renovating a house, but more importantly plants. My mother grows a lot of flowers and my father tends to his vegetable garden with great care (I always help to plant the vegetables and harvest them). I carry that love for plants myself and take care of my 30 houseplants.

As my profession is Graphic Design I do know my way around a computer and a fair amount of programs.

Right now, I read a LOT. Mostly in englisch, because I want to improve my knowledge about the language and it sounds so much better than german.

Also, I grew up with two cats and was always around the dogs of my friends and love it very much.
