Hello Everyone! My name is David, and for the past several years I've been living on, and maintaining the family farm in Arkansas. My lifestyle is somewhat sustainable - I grow my own fruits and vegetables, bake my own bread, make my own wine, raise a small flock of chickens, and catch plenty of fish out of my lake. My passions include cooking, reading, running, spending much of my time outside, and experiencing different cultures. I am especially drawn to the Latin American culture, having lived in Bolivia many years ago. I look forward to traveling again soon, and hopefully meeting you!

I have a B.S. degree in Secondary Education from the University of Arkansas and taught Social Studies at an American Cooperative School in La Paz, Bolivia for one year. I spent several years as a welding inspector, and started a welding program for the local Community College that is close to my home, where I taught for five years. The skills that I've learned living on the farm are simply too many to mention here, but include bee keeping, organic gardening, reforestation projects, preserving harvests, and equipment maintenance, just to name a few. I really enjoy teaching and would love to teach English and learn more Spanish over the next few years.
