Description
I'm an Irish girl currently taking time off my teaching career to travel Southeast Asia. I have a passion for education for young children. I also love to meet new solo travellers and spend time in more remote areas - not so full of tourists 🤣
I love spending time outdoors - some of my hobbies include cycling, hiking, gardening. I am from the countryside originally and working in nature is a huge interest of mine. As a child growing up my family have had goats, dogs, donkeys... so I am used to caring for animals.

I have 7 years of teaching experience of children between the ages of 5-12, and I am currently working with children with additional needs.
I have also taught English as a Foreign Language to teenagers with ATC language schools in Dublin. I play the piano to a high level and am currently doing my final grade in the Royal Irish Academy of Music.
I have studied in Norway for 6 months and here I taught in a Kindergarten, working with young children, helping them with care needs.
During my studies to become a teacher, I worked part-time in a café/restaurant for 5 years so I have experience in a busy restaurant environment during the peak seasons of Summer and holidays.

I play piano & guitar. I enjoy reading, being creative - painting and drawing. I am an avid climber and go bouldering every week. I can also do lead climbing. I like to play chess. And I love baking!
