We are Marvin Schuster and Nico Knoof, two open-minded, helpful and curious people who love to travel, discover new cultures and gain meaningful experiences.

What motivates us is the desire to forge genuine connections – with people, places and projects. We look forward to pitching in, learning new things and making a difference together. Each of us brings our own strengths to the table, such as manual skills, creativity, teamwork, etc.

It makes us happy when we feel that our support is welcome and that we can make a positive difference with our time and energy.

We value open, honest and respectful interaction and enjoy being part of everyday life – whether working together, cooking or sitting together in a cosy atmosphere. For us, Workaway is a wonderful opportunity to gain new perspectives and give something back at the same time.

We come from a village and are very familiar with life in the countryside. Working on a farm is nothing new to us – whether in the barn, in the fields or during harvest time. We are happy to lend a hand, even when the work is physically demanding.

We also have good manual skills: minor repairs, construction or renovation work are easy for us. We are reliable, tidy and quick to learn when shown something new.

We are also happy to help with household chores – cleaning, cooking, tidying up and shopping are all part of the job for us. We are open, friendly and easy-going, and happy to adapt to the needs of our hosts.

It is important to us to be part of everyday life with respect and good humour and to have fun together.

- enjoy fishing, appreciate the tranquillity of nature and have experience in using fishing equipment

- are passionate about football, both in clubs and privately with friends
meet regularly with friends, so we are very sociable and open in our interactions with others

- enjoy being active – whether it's excursions, parties, short hikes or discovering new places – we are always curious about new things

- enjoy gardening: planting, weeding, harvesting – it's just part of who we are. We know how to work with soil and plants.
