Hi !
My name is Martin Straub, I am French and 22 years old.
I moved to Canada 2 years and a half ago, and life has never been the same since then.
I came here to work as an independent videographer, and which I did.
I wish one day to make movies, and so for the moment thought it may be a good idea to start with event video capture and small business branding videos services.
So in France I created my own business for a start, then a subsidiary to work for it from Canada.
But then soon enough I had to know about tax and taxation, accounting, banking, budgeting, and then web design and development, programming, and then videography, editing, color grading, and then it slowly became to much and I slowly started to loose myself into endless tons and tons of bonds without knowing anywhere to turn, loosing way more then just me in the process.
In the end it worked. I did live event video capture and small business branding services for a living. I worked for restaurant groups, lawyers group, promotional products suppliers company, local brands, nightclub's, musical artist, and even circus performer. It truly was enriching, all theses peoples, theses experiences, and this learning, it may was worth it in the end. If things were to be done another time I still may change some things in the way.
Now I'm moving from Canada to Australia. I may have forgot it, but i love videography, and wish to pursuit in this path.
That's pretty much all about me, I like animals, I'm hard working, I love nature, and as my routine is slowly slowly changing I start to enjoy sports, and a healthy lifestyle, calm and rest. I also like movies and drawing.
I have work experience on construction site, land fields, restaurants, department store, food trucks, and some other things. I'm not an expert on any of theses jobs, but I learn fast and I'm willing to learn more.
I look for some fresh air and look forward into meeting any of you soon!
