Hi there!
Thanks for having a look at my profile. So my name is Martin,I am 33 years old and from Glasgow in Scotland (UK). I have a passion for the outdoors and over the last few years have became very interested in self sustainable and off the grid living. I am eager to learn about all aspects: from building and energy to food Production and animal husbandry.
My professional field has been in pharmaceutical manufacture but after 10 years in the industry it's time for a break and couldn't think of a better way.

I am proficient in the use of most tools when it comes to building and maintenance (and also physically able to do so). Having been the son of a construction worker most jobs around the house are done by ourselves. Also not a total novice when it comes to this sort of lifestyle, coming from a large Irish family the majority of summers were spent on farms helping with chores. Scotland can also be very cold and wet so I am definitely use to any adverse weather.
