Description
HI, we are Martina and Eddy from Italy, 27 and 28 years old who will come to New Zeland in December for a working holiday experience.
We are really nice and educated guys who are used to meet and work with new people, since we both worked in the hospitality/tourism industry.
We do love nature, travelling and playing different sports (biking, hiking, skiing..). We do have several goals in life, one of that is travelling New Zeland and Australia, after that we are ready to "settle down". We are currently living in Switzerland, surrounded by animals and nature. That's the life we dreamt.

Martina: back to 2018 i did an "Au Pair" experience in Australia so i am keen to take care of kids, also babies. What's more i love cooking, so i can help you with this task. Currently, my job is being a receptionist in a Hotel so i am very confident in dealing with guests, doing office job and working with lots of people.

Eddy: I am a painter since several years, this is my current job. I also love the world of constructions and doing manual jobs like general maintenance (house or also objects). In the past, i also worked as a waiter, both in Italy and in Switzerland.

We did the whole Way of St. James, more than 1000km across the Spain. That was one of the best experience we did together.

This was our first Workaway experience and it was great! We stayed for about a month ... Langis' family is really nice, friendly and always ready to help us.
We did work in the morning with mainly some cleaning and gardening. Whereas in the late afternoon Martina prepared dinner, while Eddy was enjoying doing the puzzle with Felix :)

Martina and Eddy are just the best people to have as Workawayers. Eddy was great value in the garden with a saw and tree loppers. He even repaired a vertically challenged fence strainer post with great skill. Martina was always smiling, especially when she was putting her baking skills to use with our breadmaker.

Tracey is a wonderful host! We felt at ease from the first moment.
You won't get bored here, every day after finishing the tasks there is plenty to do in the area. She was always very kind to us and she also took us to the hot pools and to the market.
