Kia ora!
We are a couple from Ireland who live in Wellington. We know a workaway is the best way to meet poeple living there and to get a taste of local life. As active people, we are well able for any type of outdoor, physical labour, such as gardening or animal care. Martha loved her previous workaway experience on a donkey sanctuary in northern Spain.

Jack is a software developer and can help with any computer/interenet tasks. He is also good at problem solving as a result. Martha is a naturally organised person and can assist with any admin or planning activities. She is also very solution orientated and a self-starter.

We voluntereed with an NGO in the Philippines and learned how to work with the local community, as well as event management of a beach clean-up and support/promotion for a music fetival.

As fast-leaners, we are sure to pick up any new skill required that we don't yet have experience in. We value communication and so are very social and open people. We are both also quite creative in our hobbies. We will definietley bring some optimism to your home, and in turn hope to learn about NZ :)

We are native English speakers, and speak various levels of Spanish. Martha is fluent, after living for one year in Spain, and has been teaching Jack for the past 3 months.

What else ...

We are both very active people and open to all new activities. Our current hobbies include surfing, hiking, and chess. We met playing ultimate frisbee. We are both avid readers, hoping to share book recommendations. Jack is a musician and loves to jam. Martha is into many types of crafts, such as crochet, and jewelery making. If there are any interests you would like to share with us we would be more than happy to learn about them :)
